    CWD too close to home

    Well, this isn't good news.

    TPWD: Chronic Wasting Disease Discovered at Deer Breeding Facilities in Hunt and Uvalde Counties

    Uvalde Co. is about 40 miles West of San Antonio, but Hunt Co. is a virtual stone's throw from me, and includes or is close to just about all of the public land units my son and I have been hunting for years. I guess it was inevitable with the way breeders seem to be a major vector for CWD. Dammit.

    Sorry to hear that. Those breeders cause problems.
