    Probably. Despite my efforts to kill them via sheer neglect (I've never once given them so much as a drop of water) they keep growing...and it's raining right now.

    Sunday was processing day for the tomatoes grown over the summer. The two-pack of seeds for 5.00 yielded 59 pints.

    That's a good return on investment. I'm jelly, having had to completely skip any gardening this year. But for next season...I challenge you to a duel!

    I pretty much doubled what I normally do because I just couldn't throw perfectly good tomato plants in the compost. Next year, I will. It took 12 hours to peel and process all of that. Way too much.

    I pledge to grow Okra next year to see if that will thicken things up a bit. I found a peeling method that is second to none. Take the frozen tomato and pop it in a bowl of warm water. About 30 seconds is all you need. The skin slips right off. The tomato is still frozen which gives you a good grip. Awesome.
