    i have that woodhaven slate call thats a really quiet call..i quess i could drill ahole in the bottom and put corn in it..i just dont no what brand of corn i should put in it..cans of sweet corn are only 79 cents..

    Billy you ever see that old crappie rig that come in like a 4 inch by 4 inch package? it was all wire with hooks on it..that thing could catch crappies left and right.. not those little texas crappie either..the crappie we catch here are like 2lber's..

    Whatever you do, use Nebraska corn. Otherwise, your turkeys won't no what you mean.


    Under no circumstances should you use Kansas corn.

    Anything from Kansas has a taint about it.

    In Texas we have to throw back 2 lb. crappie, gotta be at least 21 inches.
