I don't mean to pick on the Portuguese, but if you're going after hogs with a knife it can be done without total chaos.

I was in Portugal briefly at one point ... All I wanted was some freakin' beef.... I was SOL ....
I spent some time in Portugal, really nice place. Women are gorgeous but beef is tough to find.
The only beef I saw was running the streets on a rope. They did have to put a bull down after it tangled with another bull, I'm sure it was eaten.
I didn't see any hogs or hog hunting either

Wish I could find the youtube video that made Bullz-i buy the Learn Portuguese In A Hurry 8-CD box set a few years ago. He's been so busy studying, he's never come back ...
BTW, Google says boar hunting in Portugal is legit.
