    I'm in a rural area on a lake, I have 5 acres with about half woods, I will pick up a leg trap & try it out, thanks.

    Billy - are you in an area where you have to be concerned about catching other people’s dogs or cats? Or are you safe from dealing with that? The reason I ask is that fox are notoriously tough to coax in to a confined space such as a cage trap...there is a better tool to use; a leg hold trap is the most efficient fox trap there is (except for may be a snare in the right situation - but I doubt you want to go that route).
