If you run across any stolen silverware or some chickens and hogs, bring them back with you when you come. Corn and tobacco, too. Basically, anything that's not nailed down.

I thought our driveway deserved a civil war era split rail entrance so have slowly been getting the logs together from some of the trees I've had to take out. All are hedge and one is cedar. I tried splitting the hedge with a wedge to reproduce the way it would have been done. Yeah right. Spent hours trying to get through a hedge log. It was like splitting concrete. Had to break out the chain saw. After every two cuts, I'd have to resharpen chain. Most of the rails are probably 80 pounds. It took two people to carry those logs before splitting.

I would like to play a great live version of this, because back in the day this used to be killer, but at this point this is the best on youtube ... It might be a matter of taste--- So feel free to post a version to disagree .... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NZmbjopYUPc" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I had to renew my driver's license recently. A total disatster. It took nearly half a day, and I ain't lyin'. I was reminded of a few things while standing in line, though: Apparently pot is still a popular commestible; if your underwear is showing more than half-way down you are the man to speak to about getting some pot; skateboarding is still a thing and at some point became "multi-cultural" (so that's prolly a big win); and the staff at the DMV can be separated into at least four categories which I should probably not try to explain on short notice, except to say that some are competent and the others are not. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/T00eJSQimIk" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Basically, it's a death spiral of mass media. I'm not sure how you're going to get meaningful in-depth information in the future.

This is "One of my favorites of all time" ... LOL I like Prine with Raitt more than Raitt by herself on this song, for some reason, though Raitt solo owned the tune for a long time. Maybe I've just heard those versions too much. Emmylou has been involved in some good versions. At this point, Susan T may own it, which is amaziing. Vote for your favorite version here, or add another. :tu::beer: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1T5NuI6Ai-o" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QXo3K8l-uDc" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uUSqw0jVZqQ" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It's mostly clickbait and a way to draw many more eyes than a standard no-nonsense written review would. Yeah, the info is semi-useless but more people want to produce that kind of material --- and more people want to view it--- than want to write or read intelligent, in-depth coverage ...because that would take too long ...LOL.

I agree. These tests continue to go until the gun fails. So there is never a time when the gun is held on high and say it passed all the tests. I'm glad there are people out there willing to destroy their guns so I can watch though. Customer: "Do you have any guns that survived the airplane drop test?"

That would be pretty dumb. But what I can see as reasonable is saying that if it DOES take the abuse and still keeps working then you can say, "Well, if it survives those extreme conditions then it should be reliable under normal ones."

I've never understood gear/gun reviews that subject the gear/gun to unreasonable, improbable and unlikely conditions to prove the worthiness of the item. For example, there are many gun reviews out there, where they take a gun and pack the action with mud, sand, crap, drag it behind a car and then attempt to shoot it under water. I don't get it. If it doesn't pass the test are you gonna say the gun is no good? There's the old subject the gun to constant (in this case automatic) firing where the gun actually gets so hot the guide rod melts. So after the test where the gun fails after 170 15-round magazines are you going to go with a different brand? Are you making your purchasing decisions based on the melting point of polymer? I understand reasonable and extreme conditions but some of this stuff is ridiculous.
