Yes, it requires either a Picatinny or Glock rail (Glock has their own proprietary rail, of course) on the underside of the frame in front of the trigger guard, and comes with hardware for using either. That means that when you take your finger off the switch it returns to the "Off" position and the light deactivates. That's as opposed to the "On" position, which stays in that position (with the light activated) even after you remove your finger from the switch. If you shoot right-handed, you simply push the switch up for "Momentary" and down for "On". That's reversed if you're shooting southpaw. That's how much money you have to pay in order to buy something. I kid! I kid! I see it on Amazon for ~$118 right now. But I'm sure you can pick it up cheaper if you look/wait for sales.

Great, I thought that Streamlight would come up. Does this pretty much mount to any pistol (with underside mounting capability of course)? In other words, I could put this on any pistol that accepts lights? I know there are certain rails. Couldn't tell you what the rail is on a Glock right now. What is momentary? What is cost?

I never get to have any fun. *kicks a rock* I've had a basic Streamlight TLR-1 (I say "basic" because they offer quite a few variants) mounted to my M&P9 for about 8 or so years now, and I'm pretty happy with it. It's still using the original CR123 batteries I put in it when I first bought it, and is still blindingly bright. It's rugged, and the rocker switch (which has "Off", "On" and "Momentary" positions) is ambidextrous and easily manipulated with your trigger finger. It's a bit larger than some other currently available options, but since I only have it mounted when at home that's not an issue.

Going to pick up my new quiver tonight. More on that later. I was going to say, I'm going to pick up my TightSpot tonight, but then I'd be walking right into one of DParker's little quips. Any of you ladies have any experience with pistol lights? Don't want a laser, just a bright light that will attach to pistol - simpler is better, switch for on and off...for a friend I know.

Although I feel compelled to correct myself here in that Parcells was not fired. He voluntarily retired...though I'm going to tell myself that Jones ran him off by...well...by being Jones.

I'm surprise Jason Garrett lasted as long as he did. Speaking of which, I wonder what the current thinking is between filing for divorce now and getting 50% + of the current loot total, or waiting til the old geezer keels over and getting 100% of whatever his estate planners figured could be sensibly passed along directly to the missus.

Came across this today and LITERALLY LOL'd. The only thing I could think of is they just don't know what "neutral" means, or have never consumed much content from sources that they place in or close to that column ... :re:

It was probably just one of those headline translation errors that was misinterpreted as something like "Young Asian Girls Economize On Clothing But Splurge On Footwear"... Words to that effect, anyway ....

It looks like Krugman has since deleted the tweet only an idiot...or someone desperate to get out ahead of a story...would have issued to begin with. He must have gotten a call from his lawyer and/or the editorial staff of the NYT.

Sure... I just made it one. Looking forward to its adoption by the powers that be, who routinely decide that centuries of order, grammar, spelling and meaning (and not just English) do not preclude change and adaptation just for the hell of it. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/10/u...word-year.html Language is a free-for-all, assuming I can use that term un-problematically, since it does refer to horse racing and toxic male brawling ....
